Candidates

It may not be obvious that if we've served our clients well, our candidates have also been well served, so this deserves specific mention.

The successful employer/employee relationship - whether temporary for one day or permanent for 25 years - is a mutual contract. Both sides win. Our candidates, whether temporarily employed through Griffin Sproston for our clients or placed permanently, receive the highest level of professional treatment. Even before they are candidates, as applicants and prospects, we maintain the same high level of professionalism. Both client and candidate must be well served. We have watched many "firms" crash, burn and die because they utterly failed to serve candidates. At Griffin Sproston, people are important, whether they are clients, candidates or our very own staff.

 

Getting it right

There is always only one 'match' - the right match. It sounds simple and it sounds obvious but it is the foundation of our success and it takes a great deal of integrity and genuine hard work. Here is how we get it right: We build relationships with our clients - we visit and research, on an ongoing, as-needed basis. Teamwork - our office staff works together - there are no split commissions or other conflict-inducing incentives used at Griffin Sproston. Honesty - sometimes honesty means 'difficult' because we have to impart information the client does not particularly want to hear; we do it anyway. Referrals - over 90 percent of everything we do whether client- or candidate-based is derived from referrals (it's that happiness thing, again!). Screening and tracking tools - we deploy technology to support our efforts for testing, researching, tracking and managing people and to ensure we are speedy and efficient at what we do.
