Q. WHO USES GRIFFIN SPROSTON'S SERVICES?

A diverse group of people pursuing various career paths including administrative support from clerical to executive assistant roles, office managers, editors, accountants, human resource consultants, executives, summer students and recent graduates. Employed individuals considering a change; individuals not employed seeking permanent, contract or temporary employment; individuals with careers such as actors, writers, real estate agents looking to supplement their income. Griffin Sproston's client base is largely professional services oriented with clients ranging from large, established corporations to new economy entrepreneurial firms. We also service not-for profit and the arts.

Q. IS THERE A FEE TO REGISTER WITH GRIFFIN SPROSTON?

There is no fee. We are providing a service to our clients and they are invoiced for our services.

Q. DID YOU GET MY RESUME?

We try to respond to everyone who forwards their resume to us, however often there is such an influx of resumes that we are unable to contact everyone. Please feel free to contact us to confirm whether your resume has reached the appropriate person.

Q. WHERE ARE YOUR CLIENTS LOCATED?

All over the GTA, with the greatest concentration in the downtown core.

Q. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT WHEN I COME TO GRIFFIN SPROSTON'S OFFICES?

You will be asked to fill out some forms giving such information as your address, work history, information about what you have enjoyed and not enjoyed about pervious positions held. There is a language skills test, and for most applicants, keyboarding and computer software testing. Everyone will meet with one or two consultants to discuss their career goals and work history. You should expect to be in our offices from one hour to one and a half hours. If you are coming on your lunch hour and do not have much time please let the consultants know in advance so they may utilize the time available in the most constructive way.

Q. DOES EVERYONE HAVE TO COME TO GRIFFIN SPROSTON'S OFFICES AND WHY IS IT NECESSARY?

Everyone who registers with Griffin Sproston is a potential employee to our clients and it is our responsibility to ensure that all Griffin Sproston candidates who are referred to our clients have been thoroughly screened.
